Computer Networks and Security (online)
Description
Computer networks connect all of our devices, and we use them every day, but how do they really work? How is our information kept secure through online interactions, and how is it threatened? This course will look at the principles of networks, protocols, and computer security. Topics include Internet layers, routing, cryptography and encryption, various types of malicious code and attacks, and how to protect your information online.PREREQUISITE: Cumulative GPA of 87%

COURSE LENGTH: One Semester
CREDIT: One-half credit
